Writing ~
I'm working on revisions to Adam's Refuge. Thank you for your prayers and support. My editor, Sally Bradley, is helping me with the whole process. She's the greatest! One of the most talented graphic artists in the industry has agreed to do the cover art. She's so enthusiastic about Adam's Refuge that... well it makes me wish I were a better writer. This is her website: Designer Girl Graphics. After this round of revisions, I hand it off to my editor. My critique partner is helping me so much. Please continue to pray for me so I can put out the best book possible. As soon as I get final changes done (from the editor), I'll link an excerpt here so you'll be able to get a taste of what the book and characters are like. In the meantime, make sure you stop by my bio and check out the link to my blog for more regular updates on books I'm reading and tidbits of what's happening in my world.
Reviews ~
My biggest surprise so far is The Familiar Stranger. It's wonderful and in my my top 3 books of the entire year (and I read a lot of books). Read the book - you won't regret it. :o) I also read a wonderful Regency era romance called The Bachelor's Bargain by Catherine Palmer. Don't miss Maggie Brendan's The Jewel of His Heart on the review pages or in stores. The last book in the Charles Towne Belles, The Raven Saint and the third book in the Project Restoration series The Transformation: Blue Church both have pages now. There is a new review for the second book in a series by Sharlene MacLaren called Maggie Rose. I know you'll want to check out her series.
Contests/Drawings~
My latest contest is all about Adam's Refuge! I have a blog entry showing pics of what the main characters may look like. You get to pick which pictures you like best according to the description I gave. It ends on the 11th of Feb. Check out my blog entry for all the details: Adam & Abigail pics
Good luck!
